Made at the foot of Mont Blanc
Ligne de Crête is a small workshop founded by Louise and Alexandre in Sallanches, in the French Alps. Hikers and mountain lovers themselves, they create maps of the landscapes that inspire them.
That local connection is what drew us to their work. These maps are made at the foot of Mont Blanc by people who share our love for the mountains—and understand why a particular trail can mean so much.
Every map is made to order in their workshop, from printing the mountain relief to assembling the finished piece on its wooden base.
Follow your journey in three dimensions
Each relief is 3D printed using real elevation data, bringing the peaks, passes and valleys of your trek into view. The GPS route is printed separately in its own colour, so you can follow your journey across the mountains.
The finished map sits on a wooden base, laser engraved with the trek’s name, distance and elevation gain. You can also add a personal message—a lovely way to mark a shared adventure or dedicate a gift.
With six relief colours and six route colours to choose from, you can create a combination that suits your home or the hiker you’re buying for.
