Via Ferrata Pisciadu (Brigata Tridentina)
If you’re planning to hike Alta Via 2 in the Dolomites, there’s one adrenaline-filled detour you absolutely shouldn’t skip: Via Ferrata Pisciadù.
Also known as Brigata Tridentina, this is one of the most iconic and rewarding via ferratas in the Dolomites—and for good reason.
A classic Dolomites via ferrata
Graded 3B (medium difficulty), Via Ferrata Pisciadù offers an exhilarating blend of exposure, verticality, and unforgettable scenery. The route climbs alongside the dramatic Pisciadù waterfall, following roughly 400 metres of continuous fixed cable and ladders that keep the experience engaging from start to finish.
The grand finale? A spectacular suspension bridge, suspended high above the valley, delivering a true “wow” moment and one of the most photographed sections of any via ferrata in the Dolomites.
